that said, I have a few additional thoughts concerning
choosing a historical reproduction.
I would urge you as a living historian, to take a look at original pieces for yourself, if you do not already. Check out items in a museum, at a show, or in private collections in your area. In doing this, you can make informed choices based on your own observations, as well as using feedback from others. Finally, we strive for the most part to produce common items, that is, ones that followed arsenal specifications and were produced in large numbers rather than ones that were unique, so to speak. I hope these thoughts, along with the feedback, helps give you an idea of what to expect from our reproductions. |
